Magazine a day: day 12 - The Baking Sheet

Book page
Today's magazine was The Baking Sheet, a six issue yearly publication by King Arthur Flour.

Love the flour. Hate the magazine.

It's a tiny publication, maybe 28 pages total. And I just don't get the recipes. I mean, I read them. I understand them. I just would never make them.

This coming from someone who loves to bake (as opposed to cooking).

I have several of these issues lying around. This issue was early spring 2005. The recipes of note include Chocolate and Vanilla frostings, Sourdough waffles, how to make sourdough starter, and blueberry sourdough muffins.

I'm just not sure I'll actually make any of these recipes.
