If I die
... it's this woman's fault.
As I was sitting in the airport on the way home from Indiana, two people came up and sat next to me, a husband and wife. They talked about random things, their topic of conversation switching to cellphones after I brought mine out.
After a few minutes, the woman commented, "You don't need to turn off your phone during the flight. It's not like the phone works when you're in the air. I never turn my phone off."
I stared a her for a few moments before pondering whether to talk to a flight attendant about her lack of power down, or not. None of the (admittedly online-sourced) research I've read indicates there are any dangers with using a cell phone on a plane, so snitching wouldn't have been for safety reasons. The main reason for not allowing cell phone usage on planes is the lack of advanced recording technology when the cell phones jump from tower to tower rapidly as the planes fly overhead.
Snitching on the woman would be out of spite, and little else.
Still.
If I die from a plane crash, it's this woman's fault.
