Now

I am sitting here while Jonathan tips over sideways, as he attempts to get my attention. I am not giving it to him. We are, once again, in the cycle of distrust, and it is darkly coloring everything in my life.

I have a dozen books I've read, but not reviewed. I managed, after six months, to re-check a couple of them out of the library, so that I can extract the quotes from them, so that I can review them, so that I can remove them from my In Progress list. I expect to finish these reviews by the end of this coming weekend. That was a lot of "so that"s.

Because Lent has begun, I'm deliberately scheduling in relaxation time. All other times are productive times these next 45 days. This is already an interesting experiment. I've gained an hour each morning, just from not putzing on my phone.

As part of this Lent experiment, I'm exercising far more than I have been these last few months. I might yet run that half marathon at the end of the year. Base miles are progressing underfoot.

I'm currently reading Stealing Fire, and expect to be done tonight. I'm working on three articles, and excited about all of them. I have an statement of work for some contract work, and would be stunningly excited for work to continue with this company. I'm excited about micro.blog, and the community forming there. I still dislike winters. I need to find a yoga place (though have started trying youtube videos), a tai-chi group (though am considering trying youtube videos), and an indoor track (to start my speed workouts). Those might happen mid-March, though.
