Magazine a day: day 7 - Week, 1 April 2005

Book page
I confess: I'm going for the relatively easy ones while I try to read my latest Economist. Damn, that magazine is dense.

So, another Week magazine.

This issue focuses much of its pages on Terry Schiavo, who at the time of writing was still alive. Of course, the Pope was still alive at the publication of the next issue (thought his death then becomes the topic of the following issue).

There was a two page summary of Terry's life at the end of the magazine. It was interesting in an admittedly morbid sort of way. It's a very sad story. One that, for the better, has prompted people to write living wills. That's at least one good to come out of her death.
